Lemiesz Team at the 66th PZLA Polish Indoor Championships in Toruń (5-6 March 2022).

Lemiesz Team relay 4x 200m

During the 66th Polish Indoor Championships that took place in Toruń our athletes obtained the following results in the above-mentioned competitions:

Aneta Lemiesz won the bronze medal with a result of 2:08.08 in the final race of the 800 m.

Lukasz Sobora in the triple jump scored 13.44 m and finished as twelfth.

In addition, women’s relay 4×200 m composed of: Aleksandra Piechuta, Aneta Lemiesz, Martyna Kotulska and Maja Dimitrow with a time of 1:46.08 took third place, winning a bronze medal.

Aneta Lemiesz Master of the Year 2021

Our Coach Aneta Lemiesz was awarded the title Master of the Year 2021 during the Gala “Lauru Królowej Sportu” on October 30th. The Gala took place for the 12th in Bydgoszcz and the best athletes were awarded from Poland.

This year Aneta has broken indoor world record three times and twice the European outdoor record on 400m in the W40 in 2021. Additionally as a pacemaker she was perfect at the best meetings in Poland and Europe, including the prestigious cycle of the Wanda diamond league.

The statuettes were awarded in 15 categories in current year. Huge congratulations Aneta for this award!!!

30th Polish Indoor Championships Masters in Torun

The 30th Polish Indoor Championships Masters took place on March 13th in Torun. Strong representation of KS Lemiesz Team competed in Torun. We won 10 medals.

4th place of Aneta Lemiesz in Polish Indoor Championships

The 65th PZLA Polish Indoor Championships took place in Torun between 20-21 of February. Our Coach Aneta Lemiesz started in the qualifying round of the 800m race on Saturday. She advanced with the 4th time to the Sunday final.
The final of the 800m race took place at 18:25 on Sunday. Aneta was 4th with a time of 2:07.06. This result is a new Polish indoor record in category W40.

First indoor start in 2021 of Aneta Lemiesz as pacemaker

We could finally watch Our Coach Aneta Lemiesz at the Copernicus Cup meeting in her favorite role as a pacemaker on Wednesday, February 17th in Torun. Aneta was pacing excellent Polish stars in 800m: Joanna Jozwik, Angelika Cichocka and Martyna Galant, sensational Ethiopian – Habitam Alemu,  Nadia Power and Noelie Yarigo.
Aneta did Her job brilliantly, the first one on the finish line – Habitam Alemu, broke the meeting record and set a new personal best with the time 1:58.19. Personal record set also Noelie Yarigo and other athletes ran the best season result.
Aneta proved once again that she is one of the best pacemakers in the world!!!

Congratulations for a great performance. Bravo!!!

World indoor record (W40) in 400m

Our Coach Aneta Lemiesz broke the 13-year-old world indoor record in the 400m, during the competition in Torun on January 23, 2021. Previous world indoor record belonged to Barbara Aknin from France (56.15s). The last record was set on March 22, 2008 in Clermont-Ferrand in France.
Aneta ran a fantastic time of 55.44s, improving the previous record by over half a second.
That’s how history is made!!!

Great opening of the indoor season

Our Coach Aneta Lemiesz and her 16 year old athlete Maja Dimitrow began starts in the indoor season 2021 unusually, because on Monday, January 18th in Torun. They competed in the 300m first and after 2 hours of rest, they ran 600m, achieving amazing results.

Aneta Lemiesz: 300m – 40.00 Polish indoor record W40 (PB), 600m – 1:31.25
Maja Dimitrow: 300m – 46.06 (PB), 600m – 1:48.66 (PB)
